Bosworth Todd Kentucky Health News Bosworth M. "Bos" Todd Jr., who co-founded a pathbreaking treatment center in Louisville for mentally ill youth and the foundation that makes the most mental-health research grants in the nation, died Jan. 22. He was 93. Todd, a Frankfort native and University of Kentucky graduate, earned an MBA at Harvard Business School and worked in the investment industry. After his oldest son Sam was hospitalized with schizophrenia, he and his wife Joan, who died last year, joined with other parents to form the Schizophrenia Association of Louisville, now part of the National Alliance on Mental Illness . By Melissa Patrick Kentucky Health News It's easy to find your locality's coronavirus vaccination rate, but what about its vaccine hesitancy rate? Two new interactive tools reveal it. One uses data gathered by polling done through Facebook ; the other shows the relative interest in vaccination shown by online searches. The Facebook-gathered data are in interactive maps from the University of Washington , showing what counties (and even what Zip codes) are most hesitant to get a shot. The maps by the university's Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation reflect answers to this question: "If a vaccine to prevent Covid-19 were offered to you today, would you choose to get vaccinated?"
